Starting my first assignment tomorrow!

I’m getting to start my first travel assignment in Tucson Arizona, I’m from Ohio and holy hell it is hot down here! I expect a switch of temperature but 90’s I wasn’t expecting. Anyways does anyone have some travel tips or advice for someone entering their first assignment? I can’t lie I’m pretty anxious rn. Ive been in MICU for about 2 1/2 years and am taking a contract in CCU. I feel like it’ll be good for me to be able to test out other units and see which one I like most and if I really just don’t like any ICUs then I can look for other nursing options. Although, what scares me the most is being unsure if I need help that the other nurses on the unit might leave me on an island just because I am a traveler. Just wanted some advice to possibly alleviate my concerns or give me advice on how to handle it.
