What are everyone’s final theories on the doors?

Coming up on the last episode (how crazy is that?!)…What are everyone’s theories for the doors? I’ve heard so many and would like to analyze them before the finale to see how close everyone got (or how far).

My theory is their doors take them back to the day they died. But obviously, instead of dying they continue their life, blissfully ignorant. Except Maddie, Maddie’s necklace glows and I think there is a lot of significance there.

I think she can remember everything when she goes back to the day she died. I she has the capability to travel through the doors with this key (I think VH had the same capability). My hope is she ends up through Wally’s door, and while he had forgotten everything, seeing her (or maybe touching her) brings back all of his memories of the afterlife. And he remembers why he crossed through the doors. Then, him and Maddie go through all of the doors together looking for Simon.
