Anyone here with experience setting up in Casablanca Finance City (CFC)? Looking for guidance
Hi everyone,
I’m an Italian software engineer and I’ve been living in Casablanca for more than 2 years (mostly on a tourist visa, moving in and out).
I genuinely love the country and would prefer to regularize my situation and pay taxes here instead of in my previous country. I’m trying to do this in a clean and structured way.
Recently I’ve been looking into Casablanca Finance City (CFC), since I work internationally as a freelancer (software / digital services). From what I understand, it could allow me to:
• Open a company with real substance
• Have a physical office presence
• Be managed and operated from Casablanca
• Potentially benefit from a specific tax framework
It seems feasible and aligned with what I do, but there’s very little clear information online about how realistic it is for a one-person international service company.
I sent an email to CFC to ask about eligibility and next steps, but I haven’t received any reply yet.
Has anyone here:
• Successfully obtained CFC status as a service provider?
• Gone through the approval process?
• Worked with a consultant or lawyer who understands it well?
Any insights or contacts would be hugely appreciated 🙏
