Is anyone looking into agentic AI micropayment infrastructure with Kaspa?

🗞️ News & Updates

This space has exploded in the last couple of months with the release of OpenClaw/Moltbook and how crazy good the models have gotten.

Essentially, we've reached a point where AI agents have enough autonomy to want to pay for services to achieve their goals. It's highly probable that in the next year, entire marketplaces will pop up where agents will pay other agents for services and a parallel economy will form. By "services", I mean:

  1. AI inference or spinning up sub-agents.
  2. Accessing specialised databases.
  3. Using compute.
  4. Data storage.

At the moment, everything is funded by a human's credit card attached to API keys managed by a human. The agent can't pay for services or receive payment for providing services.

This problem is genuinely being worked on by major players. Literally in the last few weeks, Stripe, Coinbase, Lightning Labs and Google have all made announcements about infrastructure or protocols they're building to address these limitations.

From my perspective, there might be a niche here that Kaspa is uniquely able to occupy. For genuine micropayments between agents at fractions of a cent per API call, with rapid confirmation, in a way that bypasses the monopolies (and their fees) entirely, there might be something here worth looking at.
