subletting during the summer

Me and my friend are currently looking for flats for the 2nd year of uni and we’ve thought about subletting the flat during the summer holidays as we both will be back home, how easy is it in Dundee to sublet our flat to people? is it common? I know it’s easy in like edinburgh but I don’t know about dundee
