Feeling guilty because my kitten is difficult to handle

In the few months I’ve had my kitten, I’ve treated her for ringworm (got it from the Centre) and for pink eye. In current trying to give her eye drops, and while it has been successful, it’s been difficult for her.

She doesnt mind being held by me but is very energetic so she doesn’t like being held/handled too long. Whenever I try to hold her down or even scruff her she manages to get away.

I feel so bad because I feel like I stress her out and am maybe losing her trust, and I don’t want her to feel like I’m trying to hurt or annoy her. I’m not sure what to do.
