I went from console to PC so why is my elo still the same?

I am new to PC so am obviously terrible yet got predicted Plat 4 after my first comp game - now I can’t queue with any of my friends as the skill rating is too wide…

I’m telling you, I am lowest of low level players on PC. Worse than my friends who are Gold. So it seems that some of my elo from console days has carried over when I linked accounts on PC?

I don’t want to butbit seems like the solution is just throw my placements???
