Pulp Cthulhu for 2 players

I was intending to run Pandora’s box for my local group but half the group won’t be able to make it. I’ll have two noobs there, I was thinking that Pandora’s box would be a little complex for the two of them as they’re both super new to Cthulhu and one has not played any RPGs before and is completely unfamiliar with the Pulp genre. I was intending to run Pandora’s box for a group of 4 before starting American Empire (pulp scenario)

So TLDR-are there any pulp good for two totally new players? Or thoughts in general? I was considering running a classic scenario (like paper chase) in pulp but looking for ideas.
