World Cup Exit

Once again we miss out on NRR against NZ but the only difference is that it is in the T20 Format this time. Really don’t want to talk about the match but i’ll briefly talk about it.

With the bat we were on fire for the first 15 overs. Fakhar I apologise for always being against you because that was special and I wish you was the one who played towards the end because you wouldn’t have stopped hitting it. Farhan was good but he was too slow for my liking. Now I’m not going to criticise him so much because he carried us this tournament and he should leave with his head held high. Most runs in a single edition of a T20 WC. He played 18 more balls to make 16 more runs because he slowed down in overs 7-15 then he slowed down near his 100.

The main problem with our batting was that we went from 176-0 to 210-8 . Told you that the sole problem wasn’t Babar Azam, Yes I wanted him gone but a T10 Player ain’t gonna replace him. Bro wasn’t even playing today and that’s all some of you could mention. Heard some people say this is what Post Babar cricket will look like 😭 If this is it I don’t want it Either. Disband the team. To all the fanboys he wouldn’t fix it either unfortunately. Nafay was never going to fix the issue either because he ain’t it. I know some players who are much better than him but are struggling for the Shaheens or some of them are doing nothing rn.

Agha as I stated as soon as he got the job ain’t it in this format. The rest of them were all swapped around but I won’t waste my breath. Agha ain’t a good captain either. Made Babar look like Ponting at times, Only difference Babar didn’t say Intent but at least he didn’t say it and play the complete opposite.

Bowlers were a joke. Naseem wasn’t good but he was better than Shaheen. Shaheen was crap and as I said the one game against a crap England top order didn’t mean much. Abrar well done and he shouldn’t have been dropped and that’s on Hesson. Tariq had one bad game so I don’t mind. Nawaz and Shadab are more liable for our downfall then you lot can believe. Them put together been playing for the opposition for the last for Wcs. We could’ve made 20-30 more and we weren’t winning. Shaheen needs to give a death overs masterclass.

After this WC In the T20 format the only goes who should be in the next series are Abrar, Tariq, Faheem and Farhan. The problem is that most of these guys that we want dropped are our best performers. We can say Niazi, Hassan Nawaz and all of those youngsters but look at the Shaheens. Getting smoked by England for jokes. When the PSL starts the seniors perform. You can blame the selectors but what are they meant to do pick the youngsters who can’t outperform the same guys that we want gone. I want Hesson to stay but he needs to do something different imo. New captain and be different. Agha was different but they picked someone who can’t play the format. Being different is picking Niazi or Mo Harris. Guys who fit the scheme. Problem is they don’t get in the squad on merit but who does.

Need to go back to domestic and only pick consistent performers. Not Shamyl Hussain cuz he performed good in one season. Take Farhan for example that’s a consistent performer.
