Opinion on Squares

They seem a little too OP in countering cavalry for me. Maybe their damage or charge defense can be reduced on the turn after they form in square. Also, their damage output to cavalry which are not in contact in melee is greater than that of a line which would have more soldiers facing the cavalry.
