But it's a "choice"

So a while ago I was called islamophobic and general horrible woman because I said that the hijab is problematic and should not be banned by law but instead TEACH to all the women around it the truth, that isn't a choice, the origins of the practice and why they as women should NEVER be attracted to that "faith" how dangerous is for them. That's is easy to get in but getting out...is a whole another story.

I would like to think that knowing the worst part of the religion with the best part, because that's how they get you, by presenting a mild sweet and even noble version of the religion.

This might be my personal bias but, at some point, years ago I was considering joining scientology, I didn't knew anything about it and everything that the person that wanted me to join, was telling me, it seemed quite reasonable and logic, more than a religion was being sold to me as a self improvement workshop. 1 month later Leah Remini comes out and people started to speak up about what exactly happens to people who join. I ran te opposite direction. That's what I want for young girls when they are told that Islam "appreciates and treasure" them.

I was reminded of that recently in the sub advice saw a post of a young women who is going to #medical school what to do because their parents drive her to school and sometimes drop by and she might not be wearing her hijab, she said loves her religion but, was asking for "tips" on how be able to not wearing it when the parents aren't around...

so much for being optional lol

what is your opinion? teach everyone around it or forbidding?
