Move Kimberly

I am F2P and got Kimberly for free a while ago but still can't move her around on the base. What happens if i bite the bullet and pay the $.99 even though i have her already? Will i be able to move it then? Will i have 2 Kimberlys? My biggest fear is that it will rest all of her stats back to 0.
