AIO 2 WEEKS POST PARTUM

am I overreacting for being super annoyed at my mother-in-law for asking my husband to do little tasks that require him to leave me two weeks postpartum? I feel like it’s an unspoken rule to leave a family alone when they welcome a new child to be fair. She was very career oriented and didn’t really raise her children so maybe she just doesn’t know. Then he had a buddy ask him to come help remodel the bathroom. His wife is currently pregnant. Why would they think that was OK???

I got upset at my husband for not telling them no and not even mentioning it to me. I told him that he shouldn’t be putting it on my mental to say no he should be protecting me in this time but instead he’s asking me my opinion like boys say no, and don’t mention it am I overreacting do I just need to vent
