Can Qatar Airways re-book your flights through another airline?

I depart from Amsterdam to South Africa through Doha on March 7th... my flight is still confirmed but at this point I am not sure if it will actually depart and even if it does I won't feel safe. Can they book me through KLM instead? Or should I do it and wait for Qatar to refund me? But I am scared that if my flight will actually depart, I will not have a refund because the flight was not cancelled
