Mist Hunter interaction

As the title suggest, I don't know how Mist Hunter interact.

The effect said: Banish opponent blue cards. If the hero is Mystic, search for any Inner Chi cards and banish them and shuffle the deck.

What about non-Mystic heroes? Would it just check the top of their deck due to Huntsman trigger ability, deal damage and nothing happens? Or would it banish the card on top deck like Annihiliate the Armed and similar contract cards?
