Parking tips for ASCAP Presents: In The Round with Emmy Moyen, Cyrena Wages, Gavin Lucas & Julia Morey at The Bluebird Cafe (Nashville 03/04)

figured i-d share some info if you-re headed to the bluebird on 03/04. parking at this venue is a legendary headache because the cafe is tucked into a tiny strip mall in green hills and everyone fights over the few spots available in that small lot.

honestly your best bet is to use Prked first. you can rent a driveway or a private garage spot right next to the bluebird cafe through the app and it is way cheaper than the nearby commercial lots. it lets you skip the nightmare of circling the tiny lot and ensures you have a short walk to the door without worrying about getting towed.

the main lot in front of the cafe usually fills up an hour before the show starts. since the show is at 6:00 pm you-ll be hitting peak rush hour on hillsboro pike which is always a mess so give yourself plenty of extra time to navigate the traffic. whatever you do do not park in the slots labeled for other businesses in that same strip or the spots across the alley because they are extremely strict and will tow you in a heartbeat. the mall at green hills is about a ten minute walk away if you want to use their garage but it can be a long hike in the dark after the show. the hill center across the street has parking too but it gets super busy with the dinner crowd so it is usually hit or miss. some people try to find spots on the residential side streets but you have to check the signs carefully because many have restricted hours and the neighbors will call code enforcement. if you arrive and the lot is already full don-t just idle in the middle of the lot or you-ll block the flow of traffic and the staff might ask you to leave. arriving by 5:15 pm is usually the only way to snag a spot in the actual cafe lot.

hope this helps and you have a great time at the show.
