PPI side effect

has anyone ever gotten a rash from using PPIs? currently have been on 40mg of pantoprazole for about a week and starting yesterday my face burst into hives! have had to stop my skincare routine except for my vanicream sensitive skin lotion.

I read online having low stomach acid also make you susceptible to skin problems in general, which kinda tracks given how much indigestion and bloating I've gotten from taking pantoprazole. can't be allergic since I've taken famotidine in the past with no issues (besides it doing nothing to help my gerd). pantoprazole is also not doing much to help my gerd either atp so I'm wondering if I should change PPI
