Milwaukee Home Prices 2026

First day of the month, just got fresh MLS data as of this morning: Milwaukee home prices are already up quite a bit and we have not even hit spring. This is for the 4 counties MWOW, so it includes the suburbs. So depending on how you look at this, it's either good or bad. The internet is always quick to blame greedy sellers, but it is actually buyers who decide what a listing is selling for (or not selling for). From what I have seen over the last weeks personally we have about 5-10 buyers for every seller, depending on the price segment and location. The listings I have seen this weekend were all crazy busy with several cars parked outside like its an open house, but it's just 9am regular showings. Agent messaged me later that they already have 11 offers. This is New Berlin at a 480k, similar in Mequon and Bay View (that's only yesterday). I'm also new here
