To Redwoods and the 10 dollars
So, I bet Redwood wouldn't survive more than four nights after that experiment. Obviously, I failed. So, as a gracious loser, I decided to pay him the ten dollars.
So Redwood, be proud: soon you'll be the proud owner of a small box with ten dollars... in pennies. You can count them if you don't believe me. You'll feel the weight of it. It took a bit of effort to do this, you know, had to make sure the package arrived without alerting anyone and that my identity stayed out of it. No sender, of course.
Now, you're all wondering: G, why the fuck are you saying this in public?
Good question. I wouldn't be surprised if the address he gave me was fake or something similar, just a way to waste my time. If that's the case, then someone else will receive that box. They'll open it and find a bunch of pennies. Coins from a foreign country. And then one of three things happens:
A: They report it. Try to figure out why someone would do this. But there won't be an investigation, who's going to waste time tracing an anonymous package with ten dollars in pennies?
B: They keep it. But they can't exchange it for local currency. Because they're coins. Foreign coins.
C: They throw it in the trash. And maybe some scavenger picks it up, thinking they've found something valuable... only to open it and find a pile of foreign coins.
Is this a ton of effort? Yes. Could I have used my time to do something else of value? Yeah.
Am I going to laugh like a maniac knowing that someone, somewhere, either you or some random kine, is holding a box of foreign coins?
Absolutely.
