Same Sex marriage in central america

hi, i’m looking to have a wedding in central america as I was born in El Salvador and it has always been my dream to have a wedding there. I am marrying a woman (same sex marriage) and we understand we will not be able to get married through the church (although we would want to, we know this is impossible). Has anyone had any experiences just holding a ceremony in El Salvador as a gay couple or any other central american country?? TY
