Is it weird that I want to be alone and live alone for the rest of my life?

I'm a guy in my late teens. Of late I realized that the idea of finding a partner, getting married and having kids isn't a lifestyle I want. I dream of a life where I live alone, I'm independent, I'm financially stable or even rich and I can do whatever hobbies I want.

Besides, even if I don't wanted to follow the normal path of family and marriage , I've never had luck with girls and people I'm general don't find me interesting. So I've stopped caring.

It won't be easy but I want to try.
