Have any of you tried Keto?

Article

Just read an interesting old school study:

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC2369671/?page=5

I guess back in the day, they used to treat UTIs by forcing patients to go on a Keto diet in-patient. For more stubborn cases they then added hexamine (ie methenamine). Unexpectedly (to me) it seems that it helped most patients.

In any case, I've eliminated starch and sugar from my diet to try and starve my organism, so I suppose I'm now ketogenic since my last UA showed elevated Ketones, which has never happened. Maybe methenamine will finally work for me when I finish this course of antibiotics for my current infection.
