What's the best lip care(lip mask/essence/balm) you've tried?
Basically as the title says!
I've tried Torriden Ceramide Lip Essence and it's the first lip balm that's wowed me! Before, I used western lip balms like Nivea and Birt's Bees but it just never felt the hydration pang I got from Torriden - now ik what hydrated lips actually feel like!
I'm really into kbeauty and also anti-ageing(being in my early 20s it's laughable but I like to prepare myself lol). Ceramised, peptides, Hyaluronic Acid are all great for anti-ageing/hydration but they're not included in some of the most popular kbeauty lip balms like bringgreen(ig this is more for moisture and less for anti ageing). I did some more research and found new lip balms that have come out recently but haven't gotten much hype(maybe cuz it's new) such as: An*a PDRN lip balm, ongredients lip balm, hetras lip balm, Torriden Cellmazing lip essence, Dr G lip essence, beplain lip essence.
In terms of lip balms, I want to stress that I prefer liquidy lip balms that come out of a squeezing tube like lip gloss rather than solid balm sticks.
Having done some more research on lip masks and lip balms, I've found that certain popular lip masks are not that great for anti-ageing. For example, the famous Laneige doesn't contain any ceramides or peptides although it does contain some kind of Vitamin C and Dr Jart and Etude lip masks only have occlusives too.
I've found woth the help of several AI platforms that Med*cube lip mask is actually very good for anti ageing as well as BOH lip mask. Lipcerins are also consistently ranked as one of the top (due to the ceramides and peptides in the ingredients list).
However Laneige and Dr Jart, Tocobo rank near the bottom as they mostly only have occlusives.
What are some of your fave kbeauty lip masks and lip balms? And, have you found any anti ageing benefits such as smoother lip lines?
