Can’t decide on a build and keep restarting the game

Maybe it’s the ADHD, but I can’t for the life of me decide on which route to take my characters. I’ll get a few hours into the game then get FOMO for another build that sounds cool. Why does this game have to have so many cool options?

I’m playing veteran so I want to have an optimal build, but at the same time I don’t find it that fun to have to constantly refer to a build guide for an entire play through.

Any advice? Feel free to drop some build ideas too, I can always use more of those.
