When do you start "knowing" what you're doing (Tax Accounting)
Been doing tax accoutning for a little over two years (mix of everything but more emphasis on 1040s with entitiy returns here and there). I don't feel like I've learned much from a tax law and rules or accounting perspective.
I just feel like I get better year in and year out at mindless data entry, organizing my tasks and projects, and relying on software populating information for me.
I wonder if I am wasting my time. If I'm not growing or getting better at tax accounting, should I start flirting with the idea of looking elsewhere or be more patient?
Wondering if anyone is or has been in the same boat before. I'm just looking for advice and other perspectives.
