UKSV page says complete but then what?

So I'm in the middle of the recruitment process for a role at HMRC (got a provisional offer a while back). Been keeping an eye on my UKSV portal and it finally flipped to "Complete" – which I assumed meant the vetting was done and dusted. ✅

Decided to follow up with HMRC recruitment just to check in, and they've now told me that UKSV finishing their side is just part of it – apparently, there's a separate HMRC-specific vetting process still to go.

I'm a bit confused because I thought UKSV was the main event. Has anyone been through this? What does the internal HMRC vetting actually involve? Is it just a formality at this point or should I expect more delays?

They did at least confirm UKSV has signed off, so I guess that's progress. Just trying to figure out what's next and how long it might take.
