I spend HOURS on TikTok and can tell you everything about the latest drama but literally cannot tell you what's happening in the world and it's starting to embarrass me
Like I will know every detail of some influencer's situationship but ask me about anything actually important and I go completely blank. And the worst part here is that I actually WANT to be informed. I'm not lazy but I just cannot bring myself to sit down and read the news.
So I'm a 15 year old and I'm building something about this, basically TikTok-style swipeable news cards, designed to feel like doom scrolling but you come out of it actually knowing things. The whole vibe is for girls who want to be disgustingly overeducated but need it delivered in a way that doesn't feel like homework.
Before I build the whole thing I want to talk to real people about whether this actually resonates.
So I have two asks:
- Drop a comment if this is literally you (I need to know I'm not alone)
- DM me if you'd be down for a 10 min voice note or call — I'll ask you like 5 questions about your current scrolling habits, no pitch, just research
Also if you'd want to be on an early waitlist, say the word and I'll DM you the link when it's up.
Pleaseeee be brutal if you think this is a dumb idea. 🙏 I genuinely need honest feedback more than hype right now.
