Need advice

My ferritin is 39 iron saturation is 17% and I have high inflammation. I believe my ferritin level is lower because of my inflammation. I really am at a lost here because I'm having to treat this on my own. I had to ask for these test and I didn't get any real direction what to do and what iron to take. I had to research for myself at what point do you go to a hematologist? I've been taking iron every other day for about three weeks now I feel no better. It's hard to even function. I also have another condition ITP, I know it can take a while to build iron back up, but I don't know if I should seek to sit hematologist
