Recommendations for Beginner

Recommendations

Budget: $750 USD to get started included lenses/accessories. I'll be able to upgrade/buy additional lenses in the future years but I'd like something to get me started into the hobby for $750.

Country: USA

Condition: Used in good condition preferably

Type of Camera: Mirrorless or DSLR (Sounds like Mirrorless would be more future-proof but not in budget)

Intended use: Photography only

If photography; what style: Landscape/wildlife while on vacation (wildlife would be like birds/deer/moose so further away animals) and portraits of family and my dog.

If video what style: N/A

What features do you absolutely need: Weather sealing would be nice for taking it on hikes without worry, would also like as many features as possible to help a newbie (like auto focus)

What features would be nice to have: Unsure

Portability: Fairly portable, able to fit in a backpack on hikes.

Cameras you're considering: I was looking into the Canon EOS R50, but I'm not sure if I could get lenses in budget so looking for suggestions!

Cameras you already have: None! I just use my Iphone 15 Pro for everything

Notes: N/A
