are there amigurumi patterns that use hdc and/or dc instead of sc?

i know sc is the go-to stitch more the majority of ami, but using single crochets in the round is literally a nightmare for me. i don't like single crochets, period. is there any amigurumi pattern-maybe something bigger that doesn't need super tight stitches?-that uses taller stitches? i'm not saying the pattern can't have ANY scs, but...as little as possible 😶
