I also want to add a ridiculous stat that I found while doing this. Mark Eaton had 48(!) games with 5+ blocks in 1984-85, he ended up averaging 5.6 blocks that season.

Which remains the record to this day and looks like it’ll be there for a while considering the closest to come to it is Mutombo in 1995-96 at only 4.5 BPG.
