Filtered water is a no, no according to Instructions for my Breville

I read or heard, I can’t remember since it’s been so long ago. I heard you are not supposed to use filtered water from the fridge to fill up the reservoir due to the filter capsule already there. Is this true? Is there any negative impact on the mechanics of the machine? I filled mine up twice recently to test out this but nothing seems to be going wrong. Thankfully, anyone?
