Psycho boss

Trying to figure out what this new president wants of the company. I have a consulting business and this is a large company and this psycho just took over a division that I’m under. I figure most people just want money and power but I never had to deal with this type of dynamic before. My plans are to first just kiss ass and comply and make him feel like he’s totally in control. Next I plan or using lobbying tactics like offering his wife or kid a job at my company to squash this volatility. I just figure everyone wants either money or power and I can provide that in many ways without letting this thing get out of control. Just thinking outloud here.
