Professions Worth it for the Casual Player

I'm a casual player looking to do low m+ (up to +7). I'm wondering if it's worth the investment in alchemy if I'm going to just craft potions and flasks for myself or if I should just sell the mats on the AH and buy pots/flasks when I need them. Thanks!
