Pyrolysis model in Aspen Plus
hello, I am currently modelling a pyrolysis reactor in Aspen Plus and I am experiencing issues with the product yields of the model. My model uses a mixed plastic feedstock with the aim to produce hydrogen when combined with steam reforming after the pyrolysis.
Currently my pyrolysis model uses an RYield reactor to break down my NC components into primary elements using the ultimate and proximate analysis of the feedstock and then an RGibbs reactor to produce the products. This leads to the issue of the product being mostly light hydrocarbons (CH4) and solid carbon. I am not sure how I would change the model so that more liquid products are produced as well as reducing the amount of solid carbon in the results.
I have attached my results from the model. Any help or guidance is greatly appreciated thank you.
