Studying in Lille

Hello everyone, I'm an Italian student looking forward to start his erasmus experience. It'll probably be starting in september and Lille seems like a pretty good place to go. So I was wondering if anyone could tell me what studying there is like, things to do etc. For the record: I'm studying sociology, so if you've got any useful information in regards to that faculty it'll be highly appreciated
