Orders Being Marked as Completed with Pending Items

My apologies if this has been addressed before (I did a search, but didn't find anything relevant).

Scenario: I sell physical and digital products. The digital products are marked as completed because the link/item is delivered automatically via email, but the physical products are marked as pending because I must ship them.

What's happening: If someone purchases both a digital and physical product in the same order, WooCommerce marks the entire order as complete even though there's still an item (that should be pending).

Is there a way to make WooCommerce to prioritize the pending orders so that even if there is a digital product included the order will remain pending until I can fulfill the physical order?
