Need help sourcing material

OK, my creative peeps, Ned help sourcing something. I have a tent that connects to the back of my Ford explorer, but have inherited a Chevy Silverado with a hard bed cover. I want to make bug netting to attach to the sides of the truck and cover when the cover is open. I am envisioning a roll of J-hook plastic that can be clipped to the lip of the truck bed and sewn into the netting. I don't have an extremely heavy duty sewing machine, but can hand stitch and/or glue if necessary. Any and all suggestions for this wonder material would be appreciated. Thanks all!
