The John Davidson/BAFTAs incident was completely black pilling to me.
This post is a long time coming. I've been feeling the tide turn in my views since the Manchester Arena bombing, then the Southport Massacre, and again with how the American liberal elite reacted to John Davidson's unfortunate tick at the BAFTAs.
I was born into a middle class family and raised on the left. I believed that we should have unlimited amounts of empathy for those deemed less fortunate, that a strong state intervention in the economy was the best way to help them, that we should refrain from using offensive terms or believing offensive tropes.
Eventually, it gets to a point when you realise all this does is get you taken advantage of—as I believe this country and its people have been for far too long. There's no bigger examples of this than our children being butchered by alien scum. Alien to our values, our way of life. Or the people who've spent the better part of a decade preaching intersectionality and the need for white people to be understanding of their plight, and then deliberately choosing rage and ignorance instead of attempting to understand the plight of a disabled man.
The gall of these people to present themselves as virtuous. They are complete scum. Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of Trump but at least he keeps it raw and real.
I have ran out of empathy and patience for people who wish to bring us harm or hold us back. I am overtaxed, our speech is coerced and controlled, bureaucracy, the nanny state, mass migration has had this country in a chokehold for too long.
Anyone else on this sub a former leftist? What was your breaking point?
