Ibuprofen or acetaminophen?

Hi all I just got my philtrum pierced the other day (3 days old, titanium flat back clean it in the shower and saline once a day) and as we all anticipated it is swelling like a fucking balloon. I was just curious if anyone has experience or knowledge with taking acetaminophen instead of ibuprofen for swelling or vice versa.
