Help: Property Taxes / Insurance Houston

My fiancée and I just moved to Houston from Detroit. We are renting for now in the Heights but are coming up on a time where we will want to start looking for a house. Taxes here seem to be about as complex as the Michigan Millage Rate tax system but with more added on. And insurance looks to be double that of Michigan not including if you’re in a flood zone.. I’m trying to get an understanding of what to budget for in an all in mortgage with property taxes and insurance. I can do the P&I but the rest seems to be all over the board from 1.8-3.1% which is a large variance in taxes. Can anyone help me understand how much taxes (including MUD + ISD + anything else) and insurance would be if we bought a 500-600k house?
