Darkmoor different paths you can choose?

Hey y'all, I'm just starting to go through the world of Darkmoor but I'm a bit nervous about the different story paths you can go down - I have seven wizards that are level 170 right now, and I want them to each go through different paths. I don't read the story, but I'm worried that each story path will actually change the objectives you have to do in the next world, or does it really not change that much? Thank you.
