Apps or Chatgroups to meet other travelers and locals in China?

Hi everyone,

Soon I’ll visit China with my partner. She is Chinese.

During our trip we’ll go separate ways for 5 days so she can spend time with friends in her hometown and I’ll explore some places by myself.

I’ve traveled by myself before and always enjoyed language exchanges and meeting new people.

In places like Taiwan and Japan I’ve used MeetUp and some WhatsApp chatgroups to meet others, but for China im unsure what to use.

Anyone have any recommendations? Thanks in advance.
