Friends that drop you as soon as they meet a man

Hey all,

Has any of you experienced a friend distancing themselves as soon as they meet a man?

I have this friend that I've known since we were little that has distanced herself since she met someone.

It hurts because her replies are very much like "I don't care about you no more" and feel that even if I confronted her, she wouldn't care, because she has someone.

Before this, she would call me/text me more often. But now she disappeared and I even suspect she deleted my number.

We don't live in the same country, but I was planning on inviting her over to my place (in the next few months) so we can make memories together as it's been a while. I've never been able to do this because of my flatsharing situation, bit I'm actively fixing this.

Is it even worth keeping friendships like this?

I'm single at the moment but I genuinely believe in community. My mum's a widow after being married for many years, and it made me realize that friendships are vital to live a quality life.
