Need help with my Anycubic Photon Mono 4 - Failed body print
Hi everyone!
I recently bought an Anycubic Photon Mono 4 to start 3D resin printing. I’ve done a few tests with a small keycap, so I decided to go for it and print a full figure to see how it went. The problem is, it didn’t turn out as expected.
I’m using Anycubic Photon Workshop and Creality Water-Washable Resin. This was the figure I chose to print:
For my first test, I tried tilting it at a 45-degree angle like this, but it failed—it only printed up to the tail. So, I tried a different approach.
This was the second orientation I tried to see if it would work better, and I got better results, which were the following:
As you can see, the body section didn't print correctly. Does anyone know why this might be happening?
I used the Hollow and Punch tools in the software to reduce weight and provide a drain hole for the resin. I also used the auto-generated supports from the slicer.
I’m attaching the settings I used below.
Also, I noticed that the surface is left with marks from the supports, and I can see some layer lines on the print's surface.
