BETRAYAL!

I had this issue with both Scream 5 and now 7.

Now for 7. As soon as Anna Camp was introduced as Sidney’s close friend, I knew it was her. She was the only person (again, outside of family) who was both new and close to Sidney. The problem is, they should’ve had Sidney have more of an ensemble group as well. Maybe the moms of Tatum’s friend group for example. That way, it widens the suspect list especially motive wise.

In 5, I immediately caught up on that it was (possibly) Ritchie due to the fact that Sam had literally no one else she was close to in the movie other than Tara. So I figured that whoever Ghostface is has to be someone that betrays Sam. And the only non family person she trusted was Ritchie.

Think about Screams 1-4. All of them included multiple characters who could potentially hurt and betray Sidney if they were Ghostface, so it makes it more chilling.
