Should I remind the team and dm my characters age?

My character is 17 y/o halfling, it seems my party and dm tend to forget she is underage on the way they interact with her. It is an important part of her characterization and her backstory. Should I keep reminding them? or just ignore it and act as any teenager who thinks she is grown would?
