Can u claim carer element x2 on UC

Hi, me and partner both get Lcwra on a joint claim, he is named in the award. Non of us get pip etc. I claim carer element on uc for my adult child who's on pip. I'm led to believe that I can also claim carer element for partner seen as we're only rewarded the one lcwra. Is this allowed? To be claiming it twice for different people? so much conflicting info out there (google) depending on the way I write it. It suggests its allowed, then it says only if partner gets pip or any other qualifying benefits. which he doesn't. I'm getting no answer on UC journal. Appreciate any help, thankyou.
