Rapid Hair Loss in First Two Weeks Using Topical Minoxidil for Hairline

I am aware that Minoxodil causes some hair loss before making it better, but in the first two weeks using topical minoxidil on my hairline, I have lost a CRAZY amount of hair, not just on my hairline, but also on my scalp. Why? Is this normal?
