3090 or 5070ti/5080

Would you guys do the upgrade? I'm currently using at 9800X3d. Problem is that I have a custom water loop so a new gpu would also require a waterblock. Unsure if I want to forfeit 8gb of vRAM. curious to know what you guys think? Looks like it will end up costing about $700-800 to switch it out with the appropriate water cooling parts. (new fittings, tubing etc). What do you guys think? Just hold off til the end of rammogeddon? or is it getting worse?
